Roslyn Pierce
Senior Research and Compliance Strategist

Roslyn Pierce is a native to the Pacific Northwest, graduating from Sumner High School, earning her Bachelor of Science (major: psychology) from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Boise State University.

Her passion for research was sparked over a decade ago when she worked on grant-funded research projects at a local military treatment facility. I was able to put my psychology degree to work as these projects centered around post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and mental skills fitness training.

In 2012, she joined the MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation in 2012 as the Supervisorover the federally-funded research program. Over the next 10 years, she assumed additional scope and responsibility which culminated in the role as Executive Director over the Research Institute. In this role, she was responsible for the planning and direction of the clinical, financial, and operational activities of the Research Institute.

She has a heart for bringing innovative therapeutic options to patients in their communities to help maintain their connections with family and friends — a critical contributor to better health outcomes and increased quality of life. As a leader at the Research Institute, she witnessed how research close to home brings about advancements in medical science and improvements in patient care.

On weekends, she is busy with family activities, working on farm projects, and enjoying  boating, hiking, and skiing and cheering for the Seahawks, Kraken, and Huskies.
