Kevin is a recent graduate with a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University in the City of New York, School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Born and raised in Uganda, she spent over 8 years working at the Uganda Development Bank, a government-owned development finance institution, where she supported finance, credit, grant investment functions, and business development services.
During the summer of 2023, she interned at the Bassoiuni Consulting Group (TBG), a global development consulting firm focused on sustainability, innovation, and impact. As a research associate, she worked on sustainability issues and assisted corporate clients in designing their sustainability strategies.
In her final year of graduate studies, she served as a Program Assistant in the Office of Academic Affairs at Columbia University, within the SIPA Business Management Unit. In this role, she managed finance, operations, and general administration tasks for the unit.
Kevin brings a wealth of experience in development finance and the private sector, with expertise in financial analysis and reporting, underwriting guidelines, credit and grants administration policies and procedures, portfolio management, financial risk management and compliance, entrepreneurship management, and project management.
She is passionate about using finance as a tool to address social issues, looking beyond the numbers to create meaningful impact.
